1. What you get with the Faux Tan, AU
COURANT, FAKEBAKE AND ST. TROPEZ product lines? Are
premium products made from high quality, organic, and
non-comodegenic ingredients. The active tanning ingredient
is ~DHA~, so you will NOT get that dreaded orange look
that some self-tanners give you. Faux Tan provides a
smooth, natural looking tan, and does so with non-sticky
application. Finally, it won't leave any strange or unpleasant
odors behind as some other self-tanners do. Au Courant
is not a pigment tanning product, the DHA in Faux Tan
interacts with the amino acids contained in the upper
epidermis of your skin and produces a natural looking
tan. Faux Tan, Au Courant, Fake Bake and St. Tropez Sunless
Tanning Products self-sunless tanners work on all skin
types - even if your skin is very fair and doesn't tan
in the sun, Faux Tan, Au Courant, Fake Bake and St. Tropez Sunless Tanning Products
will work. Your tan will fully develop in 3-6 hours and lasts on average 2-4
days. To maintain or darken your tan, simply reapply every few days. All products
are oil & alcohol free.
2. Why is the product so brown? The use of color
in our product was the result of an advanced technological
discovery. We found that the use of color pigment finally
eliminates STREAKING because our customers can see the product
as applied to the skin. The use of color gives our customers "control" of
the product and results in a smooth and even tan without
embarrassing streaks or blotches. Note, This color is not
a stain or dye: it is naturally based organic color pigment
that is temporary. The brown color is for application
purposes only.
3. Will it stain my clothing or other items? NO!
Since organic color pigment is not a stain or dye, it will
not permanently stain and will wash out of any synthetic
material. Many focus testing focus groups found that the
color could be removed more easily than make-up on collars.
No pre-laundering treatments required.
4. How Long Does It Last? We boast that our product
needs to be applied on average three times the first week
then twice weekly to maintain your tan. Of course, you will
determine your own schedule. Remember that you are in control
you can deepen your tan simply by applying more of the product.
5. Does It Wash Off? NO! Again we recommend that
you shower and use an exfoliating scrub. Then apply the product
at night and shower the color guide off in the morning. You
may notice the brown from the color guide being removed,
but your Tan Will Not Wash Off. Your tan will fade as any
suntan does, which is why a weekly application is recommended
to maintain your tan.
6. Can I Use Sunless Tan and use a Tanning Salon? In
our marketing research we have discovered that the use of
Sunless Tan at night along with tanning bed secessions actually
accelerates any form of sun tanning. Those who wish to combine
Sunless Tan use along with tanning salon secessions will
see quicker and more satisfying results than ever before.
Sunless Tan is also ideal for those who cover their face
during tanning or who have trouble tanning the sides of their
bodies or other problem areas.
7. What About Swimming with the Product? Again,
we emphasize that this product fades but does not wash off.
For the very best results, follow our instructions and apply
the product at night and rinse the next morning. Do not swim
immediately after application of the product as this would
result in waste. Instead, swim after your morning rinse.
8. Are There Any Harmful Effects With This Product? Dermatologists
will enthusiastically agree that tanning with Sunless Tan
is much safer than tanning for prolonged hours in the sun.
We are very conscientious about safety, health,
and environmental issues.
9. Can I Use This Product On My Face? Yes! Sunless
Ttanner was designed for the entire body, including the
face. Often, separate tanning products are sold for the face
simply as a marketing strategy.
10. How Long Does It Take To Dry? Because of the
level of moisture in each skin type varies, drying time will
also vary slightly. In general, we have found that 20 minutes
is sufficient time for the product to dry. Many choose to
apply the product several hours before going to bed to ensure
that the product has dried completely.
